Diamonds are forever: A Rolls Royce Ghost lacquered with a thousand diamonds
Rolls Royce and the team from Goodwood showcased their concept of the next level in bespoke selection at the Geneva Motor show this year. A Rolls Royce Ghost layered in a special paint containing a 1000 diamonds.
Commissioned by a customer, the “Diamond Stardust” (as it is appropriately referred) involved 1000 diamonds, three engineers and two months of a specialized process to develop. Quite obviously one could never tell by touching the paint as it has a lacquer finish and an additional 3 days of paint application before ensuring completion.
Suffice to say, official pricing for this option has not been revealed. (and probably not a point of discussion for those wishing to select the option)
