From an exterior perspective they remain the same and engine options include the 1.4 litre petrol TFSI (Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection) on demand S Tronic or the 2.0 litre diesel TDI (Turbocharged Direct Injection).
The key distinction is the addition of certain technology to the existing premium plus that creates the “Technology Pack”. These include a SD card based navigation system and an Audi Phone Box With Wireless Charging.

The A3 cabriolet appears similar from the front to its Sedan sibling, however that is where the similarity ends. The convertible is available as a coupe and weighs a bit heavier than the sedan due to its retractable roof mechanism.
The drop-top A3 is equipped with a 1.4 litre TFSI petrol engine producing 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Interestingly this engine uses Audi’s ‘cylinder on-demand’ system to improve fuel efficiency.
