BMW R18 Classic launched in India - INR 24 lakh

BMW Motorrad launches a new version of their R18 big cruiser motorcycle. Following its recent launch of the Standard and First Edition variant, the BMW R18 is now in India at a starting price of INR 24 lakh(ex-showroom).

Matching its name, classic features include the large protective windscreen, plenty of chrome and saddlebags. A massive 16 inch front wheel adds some serious character and we cannot forget that this cruiser uses BMW’s largest engine yet. An 1802-cc boxer engine producing an output of 91 hp and 158 Nm.

The all-new BMW R 18 Classic offers three standard riding modes - ‘Rain’, ‘Roll’ and ‘Rock’ to suit the driving conditions and natural elements. The bike comes with a number of features including ABS, Automatic Stability Control, Electronic Cruise Control and even a modern keyless ride system.

This bike certainly draws attention with its road presence and classic styling. Expect it also to be an ideal companion on those cross country long distance journeys you intend to travel on.
