Audi’s latest: An updated Q3 with a pair of new 2.0 litre TDI engines
Audi has just launched an updated version of its ever popular Q3 SUV, adding to two recent launches for 2017, the new generation A4 diesel and the A3 Cabriolet facelift.
Essentially two variants of the same 2.0 litre TDI engine will be available:
A 2.0 litre TDI FWD (148 hp and 340 Nm of torque)
A 2.0 litre TDI Quattro (181 hp and 380 Nm of torque)
Both engines are mated to a 7 speed S tronic automatic gearbox. Mileage figures suggest the FWD version provides a claimed 18.51 kmpl whereas the Quattro (with a tad bit more power on tap) returns 15.71 kmpl.
A number of features have been made standard in both versions, namely: a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED Headlights with signature LED DRLs, front seats with electric adjustment and a deluxe two zone automatic air conditioner.
Additional safety features include 6 airbags, ABS, and electronic stabilisation programme (ESP).
Pricing for the 2.0 litre TDI FWD starts at 34.2 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) while the 2.0 litre TDI Quattro begins at 37.2 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
Additional standard features combined with a host of updates should entice Audi fans towards seriously considering adding the Q3 to their stable.
