BMW launches the Petrol variant of its X3 SUV
- Available as a single variant - xDrive30i Luxury Line
- Uses a new twin-turbo 2.0 litre 4-cylinder unit
- New weight reducing panels (sheds 55kg)
BMW has introduced a petrol powered version of its popular X3 SUV at a price of INR 56.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently launched with diesel power, BMW’s introduces a new twin-turbo 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol unit that produces 250 bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering-mounted paddle shifters, the X3 petrol variant reaches 100 kph in just 6.3seconds. It offers four driving modes - Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+.
The only petrol variant - xDrive30i Luxury Line - gets LED headlights, LED fog lamps, chrome radiator grille bars, dual-tone grey-matt skid plates with chrome trim, chrome-lined air-dams, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, rear spoiler and automatic tailgate. Providing spatial largeness comes courtesy of a panoramic sunroof.
The X3 is also equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 600W Harman Kardon surround sound system, wireless charging and a 3-zone climate control. Safety features include six airbags, attentiveness assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), and electric parking brake with auto hold.
