Next generation BMW 3-Series launched in India; INR 41.40 lakh onwards
The BMW 3-Series. Known for its sporty nature the world over now launches its 7th generation of the executive sedan in India. The car is wider, taller, longer and when seated in the rear, one can easily appreciate the additional 41 mm wheelbase increase.
The popular 3-Series sedan will be available in 3 variants and 2 engine options. There is a 320D Sport and Luxury Line and a range topping 330i petrol version. The 320d uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel motor producing 190PS and 400Nm of torque. The 330i petrol variant uses a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged unit that delivers 258PS and 400Nm of torque.
Exterior changes present a very handsome and chiseled look and in our opinion positively sets the tone as a segment leader in terms of aesthetics. A larger kidney grille adds to its road presence. Rounding off its sporty front exterior and profile is the refreshed rear tail lights and bumper.
The interior follows in BMW’s current clean design language integrating a beautiful 10.25 inch infotainment screen. Gesture control and Apple Carplay is now available along with ambient lighting and wireless charging.

BMW 320D Luxury Line : INR 46.90 lakh
BMW 330i M Sport : INR 47.90 lakh

With the automobile industry in India in absolute turmoil, BMW showcases confidence in the luxury vehicle segment. More importantly, confidence with their updated designs and portfolio given this is their 7th model launch this year which is refreshing to see.
How will the ever popular 3-Series fair? We shall wait and see, remaining cautiously optimistic.
