McLaren unveils all-new, next-generation High-Performance Hybrid supercar - the McLaren Artura

McLaren Artura Hybrid Supercar

McLaren - A supercar that has truly added its name to the list of supercars present in the market in recent times. Using their F1 heritage, technology and unique design philosophy, McLaren has grown to become a mainstream competitor in the space of supercars.

Adding to their line-up of hybrid performance cars which included the P1 and Speed tail is this all new McLaren Artura (noble).

While we did mention the other models as hybrid, McLaren suggests this to be its first production series hybrid supercar. Positioned between the McLaren GT and McLaren 720S, the Artura is also said to be the first model built on an all-new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) platform.

This is specifically keeping in consideration the hybrid element of its powertrain and ensuring the added weight does not compromise on performance. Speaking of weight, the dry weight is an incredible 1395 kgs, which considering it is a hybrid is truly impressive.

The axial flux e-motor is located within the transmission bell housing and on electric charge alone allows for the car to travel up to 30 km of range.

The interior of the McLaren Artura is driver-centric as is to be expected including new HD touchscreens, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability.
