The 2018 Ducati Monster 821 launched in India

The new Ducati Monster 821 has just been launched in India. Ducati has also introduced the new Ducati Yellow colour that's exclusive to the Monster 821. The colour will be available in addition to the Ducati Red and Matte Black colours.

The new 2018 Ducati Monster 821 is powered by an 821cc, Testastretta, V-twin engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. A maximum power of 109 bhp along with a peak torque of 86 Nm is available and optionally can be fitted with a Ducati quick shift kit meaning there is no need to use the clutch when shifting through gears.

A full colour TFT screen with bluetooth connectivity is new to the Monster, as is a dual exhaust system. The new Ducati Monster 821 gets three riding modes, namely Urban, Touring and Sport. The motorcycle also gets an all-new LED headlamp that offers better visibility. Additional safety features include dual disc brakes in the front, a 3 level ABS system and an available eight- level traction control system.

The 2018 Ducati Monster 821 is introduced at an introductory price of INR 9.51 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
