BMW India adds a petrol variant to its 2-Series Gran Coupe; INR 40.90 lakhs

BMW India recently launched its entry-level luxury sedan 2-Series Gran Coupe late last year, however only with a diesel power plant. Today, the German luxury brand has added a petrol variant and as with the performance M Sport attached to its nomenclature. Known as the BMW 220i M Sport, this four-door ‘coupe’ uses a 2.0-litre twin turbo powered petrol engine that produces 190 hp and 280 Nm of torque.

The ‘M Sport’ package refers to sportier designed bumpers, larger 18 inch wheels, a chromed kidney grille, that adds to the cool frame-less doors of the car. Exclusive M-Sport based paint options include Misano Blue and Snapper Rocks Blue Metallic along with optional interiors to match.

The introductory price for the BMW 220i M Sport petrol Car starts at INR 40.90 lakh (Ex-showroom) and is available in dealerships across the country.
