Maserati India launches its 2021 Ghibli Sedan Series
Maserati India has just added the 2021 Ghibli Sedan Series to their line-up for the country. Prices start at INR 1.15 Crore for the base Ghibli which we wish to add is now offered as a hybrid. Additionally, it is exciting to note that the range topping V8 powered Ghibli Trofeo is also available.

If you see blue on the side vents of the front fenders along with blue brake calipers and its c-pillar saetta, know that you are looking at a hybrid. Other highlights include minor updates to the rear tail-lights and front grille with its signature Trident logo. Similarly, for the range topping Trofeo, expect to see red highlights along the vents, calipers and c-pillar saetta.
2021 Maserati Ghibli Interior
The interior gets an upgraded 10.1 inch central infotainment system. Maserati connect allows for remote functions via an app that includes the integration of Google and Alexa’s voice assistance. Soft close doors is a nice touch that has been added signifying its luxury status.

A big change in the powertrain options is the lack of a diesel option. All models are powered by an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels.

While the likes of the Ghibli Sedan and Levante SUV was launched to help Maserati move numbers, the increase wasn’t quite as dramatic. Having said that, they do seem to be growing and with promising Halo products like the MC20, it will be interesting to see how things pan out.
We are extremely happy that for a change India hasn’t been short changed on the performance with the availability of the Trofeo V8, that is sure to take on the likes of the Germans. Especially with its stunning Italian styling and particularly noteworthy exhaust note!
