- Added to the recently launched two TDI diesel engine variants
- Only available as in a front -wheel drive format
- 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine with a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.8 kmpl
Subsequent to the recent introduction of two new diesel engines, Audi India has just added a new petrol variant to its popular Q3 compact crossover SUV model range. The 1.4 litre turbo petrol is capable of 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque paired with a 6 speed s-tronic dual clutch automatic transmission.
Audi offers a similar equipment list as its diesel siblings, with the exception of Quattro all wheel drive, as the petrol mill will only be offered with front wheel drive. Rest assured this implies improved efficiency with Audi claiming a fuel consumption figure of 16.8 kmpl.
This is the only petrol SUV offered by Audi in the country for the moment and with a starting price tag of INR 32.20 lakh is a welcome addition in what is likely to be a very competitive premium compact SUV segment.
