Audi has just revealed a real version of a car originally conceptualized for virtual racing on a playstation 4, the e-tron Vision Gran Turismo. With a real world view of the gaining importance of e-mobility, Audi is showcasing the future of innovation via this concept showing that the reality of electric cars is viable.
The Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo comes with three electric motors, each with output of 268 bhp. Two electric motors drive the rear axle and the third one the front axle, using individual components from the future Audi e-tron. These three electric motors help the e-tron Vision GT to produce a total output of 815 bhp. It also has permanent all-wheel drive and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in less than 2.5 seconds.
An aggressive design with elements taken from the iconic Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO race car. It certainly looks the part and shows that electric mobility can in fact be extremely exciting.
