New BMW X5 details revealed
BMW has officially revealed the new-gen X5. This new SUV is bigger with a host of new features added. Based on the new cluster architecture (CLAR) platform, the X5 has grown. And the result is a wheelbase extended by 42mm to 2,975mm.
The exterior reflects a larger kidney grill presenting a more prominent character to the SUV. The LED headlamps are newly designed and has the BMW Laser light with adaptive LED signature in the blue X-motif. The rear displays a diffuser with twin exhausts giving the SUV a signature sporty appeal from BMW.
The interior presents a completely digital cluster with an updated iDrive system as standard. There are four engine options available on the new X5 including a top spec xDrive50i that will be powered by a newly-developed V8 producing 460bhp.
The new X5 is slated to launch in November of this year and will subsequently make its way across all of its markets.
