A 600hp Jaguar revealed: meet the XE SV Project 8

Developed by the Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) squad, the company has just revealed its most powerful road going car - the Jaguar XE SV Project 8. A successor to the project 7, this hand built XE SV uses a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine which is capable of producing up to 600 hp. This power will be transmitted to all four wheels via a specially tuned ZF transmission.
A more aggressive and purposeful exterior combined with an equally sporty interior can be anticipated in the soon to be launched model, where rumours have it will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
While we absolutely adore luxury performance vehicles, we are a bit disappointed that these are rumoured to be only left hand drive, making it a difficult proposition for these shores.
