Huracan
The Lamborghini Huracán (Spanish for "hurricane") is a sports car replacing the previous V10 flagship, the Gallardo. The LP 610-4 designation comes from the fact that this car has 610 metric horsepower and 4 wheel drive, while LP stands for "Longitudinale Posteriore", which refers to the longitudinal mid-rear engine position.
The Huracán's name (huracán being the Spanish word for hurricane) is inspired by a Spanish fighting bull. Also Huracan is the Mayan god of wind, storm and fire.
Many variants of the Huracan have evolved over its production span. These include:
- Huracan Coupe
- Huracan Spyder
- Huracan RWD Coupe
- Huracan RWD Spyder
- Huracan Performante
- Huracan Performante Spyder
