2018 Mercedes-Benz CLS launched in India
Mercedes-Benz began a new segment called the four door ‘coupe’ with the launch of its first generation CLS. The company now presents an all-new third generation CLS 4-door coupe in India. The 2018 Mercedes-Benz CLS maintains its current design language while showcasing a sleek sloping roofline and frameless doors certain to be eye catching.
Presently, the CLS will be offered as a CLS 300 d version, powered by a 2.0-litre engine that produces a maximum of 242 bhp and develops a peak torque of 500 Nm. The new CLS comes mated to a 9-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox that propels to car from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. The new Mercedes-Benz CLS competition includes the soon to be launched second-generation Audi A7 and the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in India.
