Mercedes-Benz brings its flagship S-Class ‘Maestro Edition’ to India; INR 1.51 Cr
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is expected with an official launch later this year. As a tribute to the current generation, Mercedes-Benz India has launched the ‘Maestro Edition’ of its flagship sedan. Adding 13 lakhs to the standard S-Class, this special edition is now priced at a starting price of INR 1.51 Cr.
Features that are added to the current Mercedes Benz S-Class include Alexa and Google Home integration as well as a ‘Magic Sky Control’ twin panel panoramic sunroof. This adjusts the translucency of the sunroof independently at the touch of a button between the front and rear passengers.
Using the latest ‘Mercedes Me’ app, one can detect real-time information on the car and operate certain functions remotely via their mobile phone. However, the physical appearance in the car infotainment remains the COMAND system. Expect the transition to the latest MBUX Technology interface heading towards the 2021 S-Class.
Powering this luxury sedan is a ‘diesel only’ option. A 3.0-litre 6 cylinder turbo diesel good for 286 hp and a massive 600 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h in a claimed 6 seconds.
