Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV Black Badge debuts in India; INR 8.20 Crore

Luxury typically is associated with great comfort(and elegance) at a significant expense. We wish to add that scarcity provides an added element too. In the case of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, they certainly cover the former with their model range.

While they are fairly limited in visibility, adding to the exclusive factor is the customised “Black Badge” variants of their model range. Introduced in 2018 in India, the Cullinan SUV now adds the “Black Badge” treatment at a starting price of INR 8.20 Crore(ex-showroom).

As you can expect from its name, dark tinted exhaust tips, door handles, blackened grille inserts and even the spirit of ecstasy on the hood can be seen in black. Its massive 22-inch alloy-wheels are dual-tone complimenting its dark exterior elements. Granted, being a Rolls, all of this can easily be customised to match its new owners unique tastes.

On the inside, expect the classic ‘optical sky’ illuminated headliner as well as carbon fiber in-lays, although once again heavily customisable.

The Cullinan SUV is no slouch, either. Powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, this ultra luxury SUV produces 600 bhp and 900 Nm of torque! Married to an eight-speed automatic transmission, power is sent to all four wheels.
