  • Complete range of premium motorcycle segments on offer:Sports, Tour, Roadster, Heritage and Adventure

BMW has just announced their official entry into the motorcycle business taking over from the existing importer beginning with four showrooms. These dealerships will be located in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Ahmedabad and will provide its customers with complete sales and service by the company.

A bit of history tells us that BMW has been producing motorcycles for nearly as long as they have been producing cars having showcased their first motorcycle in the 1920’s with the BMW R32 featuring a flat twin boxer engine, a unique configuration during that era.

Being completely built units, the BMW series of motorcycles start at INR 14.90 lakh for the R 1200 R series and going up to INR 28.50 lakh for the BMW K 1600 GTL. (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). The company will be retailing the BMW S 1000 RR(recognized for its wins at the legendary Isle of Man TT racing series), BMW S 1000 R, BMW S 1000 XR, BMW R Nine T and R Nine T Scrambler. The BMW R 1200 RS, R 1200 RT, BMW R 1200 R, BMW K 1600 GTL, BMW R 1200 GS Adventure and R 1200 GS adds to complete the entire range of premium motorcycles available.

BMW is yet to release details regarding the “Made in India” G310 motorcycle and we imagine enthusiasts are waiting on bated breath to be able to begin their very own BMW journey.
