MV Agusta’s new sport tourer launched; meet the Turismo Veloce 800
Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta has just launched a premium adventurer tourer; the Turismo Veloce 800. Initially offered as a standard model, the Lusso variant will also be available by order with the Lusso SCS expected at a later point in time.
Powered by a 798cc 3-cylinder engine producing 111 PS of maximum power at 10,150 rpm and 83 Nm of peak torque, this tourer is said to present sportier characteristics. Top speed claims make it reach 230 km/h.
The 6-speed transmission equipped with a bi-directional quick shifter allows for clutchless gear changes. The bike gets fully adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi upside down forks and Sachs rear monoshock. Braking is taken care of by Brembo 4-piston callipers on 320 mm dual discs up front and a 2-piston calliper on a 220 mm disc in the back.
This “everyday F3” sport tourer will be available at a starting price of INR 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
