Ghibli
The current Ghibli offered by Maserati is a mid-sized executive luxury car. The name was previously used for their coupes, the original Ghibli grand tourer of the 1960’s and also more recently with the Ghibli of the 90’s related to the bi-turbo.
The Ghibli is offered with three different 3.0-litre V6 engines: a twin-turbocharged 350 hp or 400 hp petrol and a 275 hp turbo-diesel, making the Ghibli the first Maserati production car to be powered by a diesel engine. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models; all wheel drive is available with the most powerful V6, although not in right hand drive markets.
The design for the Ghibli is typically Italian, with exquisite curves and luxurious interiors.
The Ghibli has helped Maserati expand its sales network and numbers by increasing the product offering by the Italian brand.
