Range Rover and Range Rover Sport facelift launched
Land Rover has just launched the 2018 Range Rover Sport and Range Rover in India. The SUVs are priced at and INR 99.48 lakh and INR. 1.74 crore(ex-showroom, India) respectively.
As part of the facelift, the 2018 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport get a new front grille, fender vents, redesigned clamshell bonnet and a choice of Matrix LED, Pixel LED and Pixel-laser LED headlights. On the inside, both SUVs get Land Rover's latest Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with a twin-touchscreen setup. A 12.3-inch screen replaces the conventional instrument panel. A colour head-up display and rear seat entertainment package is available as an option.
The Range Rover offers an optional Executive Class seating package that adds plenty of pampering with a power deployable centre console, heated armrest, calf rest and footrest. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, gesture controlled sun blinds, adaptive cruise control with queue assist, 4-zone climate control and a Meridian sound system.
The Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport are offered with a choice of 4 engines - a 3.0-litre, V6 diesel with 255 BHP and 600 Nm of torque, a 4.4-litre, V8 diesel with 335 BHP and 740 Nm, a 3.0-litre, supercharged V6 petrol engine with 335 BHP and 450 Nm and a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 petrol engine with 518 BHP and 625 Nm of torque.
There are 7 driving modes and all variants come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with Terrain Response.
